    a. Mathematics Paper:
    • This paper is designed to test the candidate’s mathematical aptitude. It consists of objective-type questions. The paper covers topics such as algebra, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, etc. The mathematics paper is of 300 marks.
    b. General Ability Test (GAT):
    • The GAT paper assesses the candidate’s proficiency in English, general knowledge, and logical reasoning.
    • It consists of objective-type questions.
    • The paper covers topics such as English grammar and comprehension, physics, chemistry, general science, history, geography, current affairs, etc.
    • The GAT paper is 600 marks.
  2. SSB Interview:
    • Candidates who qualify the written examination are called for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview.
    • The SSB interview consists of various stages, including Intelligence and Personality Tests, Psychological Testing, Group Testing, and Personal Interview.
    • The interview process evaluates the candidate’s suitability for a career in the Indian Armed Forces.
  3. Medical Examination:
    • Candidates who clear the SSB interview undergo a medical examination conducted by a Military Hospital.
    • The medical examination ensures that the candidate is medically fit for training.
